Clinical-Grade Accuracy

Ivf Calculator

Unlike natural conception, IVF pregnancies have a highly precise starting point. Gynosakhi's ivf calculator calculates your gestational timeline and due date based on the exact day of your embryo transfer and whether it was a Day 3 or Day 5 blastocyst.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is an IVF due date calculated?
An IVF due date is calculated by adding 266 days to the date of conception. Since embryo transfers occur after fertilization, we adjust this: for a Day 3 transfer, the due date is 263 days from the transfer. For a Day 5 transfer, it is 261 days from the transfer.
Why is the IVF due date calculation more precise?
Because the exact date of fertilization (egg retrieval/ICSI) and embryo transfer is known, eliminating the cycle length variability associated with Last Menstrual Period (LMP) calculations.
Do twins from IVF have a different due date?
The biological due date remains the same (40 weeks), but multiple gestations are clinically expected to deliver early (around 37 weeks for twins). Our twin-adjusted calculations handle this discrepancy.
